Abe

At the very end of class the question was posed "So what were the other people in the story thinking about all this?" It was mentioned that the servent was left at the bottom of the mountian and I thought....so why was he left at the bottom of the mountian? Abe must have known he was doing something wrong if he felt the need to keep his servent at the bottom and "in the dark" so to speak (assuming the servent really didn't know what was going on, but thats doubtful)He knew that if the servent came along, he would try to stop abe or at least would rat him out later after his son was dead (were there jails or anything ack then?....maybe it was just hanging or some gruesome death type thing) So anyway, if Abe knew what he was doing was just plain wrong and felt the need to hide it, from his wife even, why didn't he question it or fight it? I knwo you aren't supposed to question God or anything, but think about the antichrist...hes supposed to come acting as the savior thats come but basically be a wolf in sheeps clothing....I would have had to question that, or at least it would have crossed my mind. God didn't make people to be unquestioning and just follow him around like mindless beings.
